Here is what we recommend at Spring Dance Hot Tubs:

If you’re on the ACE Salt Water System

Drain your spa every 6-9 months

If you’re using BaquaSpa

Drain your spa every 3-4 months

Any other Chemical System (chlorine-bromine based)

Drain your spa every 4-6 months depending on usage
